In Honour of the Beer Summit

Two great tastes that go great together! Fancy mugs, but I like mine, right from the can (or bottle). In the summer months, being outside more - cans are the way to go, especially for lawn chores and whatnot. I go with bottles more in the other nine months. The small grocery store where we "trade" always has a bag of pretzel rods open at the checkout line on your way out. I think they are the Rold Gold brand. I also like the flavoured Hanovers brand. My summer beer is Miller 64, in the can; as I try to not add extra calories. I should play this record. I also think I should make a New Rule for my blog: if I post a record, I need to have played it before posting.

Judas Priest - Metal Gods

I really need to get back to my roots and post some harder rock albums. This one's called Screaming for Vengence. How apropos is that in today's world? [Apropos is not a word one would associate with this band.] It was released in 1982 on the CBS record label. Produced by Tom Allom. JP was formed in Birmingham, England. Click here for a video song clip of their classic and memorable song called, You Got Another Thing Comin' -
