Dr. Hook - The Ultimate Cover Band?

Pleasure & Pain is the name of this album. This is the back cover.  Motley Crue's second album also features the masks of Comedy and Tragedy.  Everything in this post, like my others, is just from reading the jacket, and inner dust sleave, or my opinion. It's on the Capital label. So - unless I'm off base, this band does lots of covers. Track one is the hit, Sharing the Night Together, written by Ava Aldridge and Eddie Struzick, neither of whom are in the band. And three tunes are written by Shel "Boy Named Sue" Silverstein: Sweetest of All, I Don't Want to be Alone Tonight, and I Gave Her Comfort. Storms Never Last was written by Jessi Colter. Track one on side B is Clyde, by the great J.J. Cale. Album was recorded at Muscle Shoals with strings by the Miami Strings. A guy named Bob "Willard" Henke (how'd he get that nickname?) is on guitar, keyboards, and vocals. And in the lower right hand corner in the small inset photo is Ron Haffkine, "Producer and Musical Director." Their second album is called, "Sloppy Seconds." Nice.
