Loggins and Messina...Native Sons.  Native Sons is the sixth and final studio album (and seventh overall release) by singer/songwriter duo Loggins and Messina, released in early 1976.  After that, there did not seem much to say about this record, until I saw who is listed on the credits:  Michel Rubini (born December 3, 1942 in LA. a top musician and composer, best known for his work composing motion picture soundtracks. He was one of the most sought-after Los Angeles session players during 1970s and 1980s, performed on albums by Sonny & CherMichael Parks, The Cats, The Righteous Brothers and many others. Rubini arranged and conducted Sonny & Chér single A Cowboys Work Is Never Done, arranged Cher single Don't Hide Your Love and Maureen McGovern single I Won't Last A Day Without You, produced and arranged Macho single No One To Depend On. 1. I remember buying this one used and being bored stiff by it. Wouldn't be surprised, though, if I now like it when I next give it a try!
