Last night at a big fancy party in the city, we stuck around long enough to catch the first set by Brit Beat, a BEATLES tribute band. They did songs in chronological order. They did This Boy, Twist and Shout, Help!, She Loves You, I Saw her Standing There, All My Loving, Roll over Beethoven, Can't Buy me Love and others. We left at their break - but according to the bands website, http://www.britbeat.com/ - they come out for their next set dressed in the Sgt. Pepper regalia. What fun. Another great local Chicago party band, Libido Funk Circus also played the same party - at the same time. And I do love that band, but we made the right choice to get into some great Beatlemania.
