Record Cover Match Game: Motley Crue and the Rolling Stones

This is one of my favorite things to do with my record collection.  Remember that TV game show called Match Game?  It was hosted by Gene Rayburn.   Well if you do - this is like the game.  You flip over a card, flip it back over - and then try to member a similar image, and most important - where it is on the game board.  My record collection is the Board, and sometimes I just stumble upon similarities like these two album covers.  Motley Crue's first record on the right, and the Stones with of course Sticky Fingers.  That one have the actual working metal zipper on the cover too.

  1. Ahh Curtie... My mother used to call me the walking TV Guide.

Your post describes "Concentration" with Hugh Downs; match 2 like cards.

The "Match Game" (Gene Rayburn) had 6 celebrity panelists, notably Charles Nelson Reilly and Brett Sommers as the anchors; Richard Dawson, Fannie Flagg, Gavin McLeod, Rose Marie often appeared. Lots of double entendre and quips and dumb contestants.

If you have Me TV with your provider, I bet that Match Game still runs...
