Dennis Hopper, RIP. Besides of course in Easy Rider, I liked Dennis Hopper best in/as: Moon, who rode with Crazy Ned Pepper in True Grit. Dennis had a small part in Cool Hand Luke. But my all-time favorite role of his was as the former hometown hero and then current derelict/alcoholic and basketball genius in Hoosiers as Wilbur "Shooter" Flatch. I bet Dennis had loads of fun with Gene Hackman making that movie. "Now, boys, don't get caught watchin' the paint dry!"Tuesday, June 1, 2010
