Of course we all know the song “Brandy (You’re a Fine Girl)” by the New Jersey band, Looking Glass. But there is of course a back story. After their second album failed to chart, the band reorganized, calling themselves Fallen Angels. A year later, that band changed their name yet again and become a group called Starz. Starz was a 1970’s heavy metal and power pop band from New Jersey, United States. Despite a lack of big commercial success, the band has a lasting cult following and has been cited as a major influence by bands such as Mötley Crüe, Poison and Twisted Sister.
