Atlanta Rhythm Section: Underdog, with Spooky

You might remember their song called Spooky - which a popular version of that song is on this LP, from 1979.    Ah - but that was not the first version of it.  It was first an instrumental by a group called the Classics IV, which morphed into the Atlanta Rhythm Section.  ARS basically started as the house backing band for Capricorn Records.   That label's main recording studio was in Doraville, GA, called Studio One.  This LP is Underdog - an album by the Atlanta Rhythm Section, released in 1979 by Polydor Records.  It is their first album with drummer Roy Yeager since the former drummer Robert Nix left the band near the end of 1978.  The album reached number 26 on the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart, and was certified gold by the RIAA in June 1979.
