Who is this other John Stewart - the one with a lower case h?

Wow - what a cool record.  Love that Pearl White Les Paul.  I had no clue about this John Stewart.  But Lindsay Buckingham and Stevie Nicks are this record.  You can hear her clearly on the track called Gold.  This is/was John Coburn Stewart (1939 – 2008), a songwriter and singer mostly known for a song he did called Gold.  He was also in The Kingston Trio.  And guess what else?:  he wrote the Monkees' hit Daydream Beleiver!  This album is Bombs Away Dream Babies, from 1979 - on the RSO label - you will recall that that stands for Robert Stigwood Organization.  Not only is it easy to hear Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham on Gold - but with them, you also get Russ Kunkel and Mary Kay Place.
